Trainers should spend their time training — not building simulations.
TrainersHub started with a simple observation: the trainers running the best sessions were spending most of their prep time writing scenarios, not refining how they'd facilitate them.
Why we exist
A good simulation takes real instructional design work: a scenario has to be balanced, its decision points have to actually teach something, and it has to hold up under a room full of skeptical participants. Most trainers don't have the time to build that from scratch for every session — and most off-the-shelf options feel generic.
TrainersHub sits in between: a library of scenarios built to the same standard as bespoke work, plus a custom design service for when nothing off-the-shelf will do.
How we approach it
Every simulation — pre-built or custom — starts as an instructional design problem before it's a content problem. We define what a participant should be able to do differently afterward, then build the scenario backward from that outcome.
That's why pre-built simulations in our catalog are piloted before release, and why custom projects begin with a discovery call rather than a template.
Three principles behind every simulation
Design before build
The learning objective is fixed before a single scenario detail is written.
Piloted, not assumed
Every scenario is tested with a real group before it's considered finished.
Built for the facilitator
Materials are written for the person running the room, not just the participants.
